What to Expect

Session Structure

  • Structured one-on-one sessions, tailored to your pup's instincts, play style, and skills you'd like reinforced (i.e., loose-leash walking, impulse control, confidence around triggers, etc)

  • We go beyond a simple walk — incorporating instinct-based enrichment and controlled play (i.e., sniffwork, retrieval, tug, herding games, etc), helping reinforce important real-world skills while channelling energy in a healthy, purposeful way

When & Where

  • Monday – Friday mornings & Tuesday – Friday afternoons

  • 45 min – 1 hour duration (15-30 min potty break walks are also offered)

  • Your local neighbourhood (see service area map below)

  • Pick-up windows:

    • Monday - Thursday mornings: 9 am pickup 

    • Tuesday - Thursday afternoons: 12:00 pm - 2 pm pickup 

      • Fridays: 9 am - 2 pm pickup

    Who It's For

    • Dogs must complete brief assessment — contact us to learn more

    • Dogs needing breed-specific fulfillment (i.e., dogs with excess energy, distracted or destructive behaviour, etc)

    • Dogs who have begun training and need ongoing reinforcement

    • Puppies or dogs not yet ready for group walks

    • Intact dogs or dogs with health considerations

    NOTE: Private sessions focus on reinforcing skills your dog already knows and providing individualized attention. Dogs who need more step-by-step behaviour modification, skill-building, or guidance with reactivity, leash etiquette, or confidence may benefit more from our Training & Enrichment Programs.

    Recurring Spots

    A monthly pass is required to reserve a weekly recurring spot

    Holidays

    No sessions scheduled on B.C. statutory holidays. No recurring sessions are scheduled during the Winter Holiday Period (Dec 18, 2026 - Jan 4, 2027), but are available to book in advance as a drop-in service.

    Drop in Rates

    Drop in Rates and Add Ons

    Drop in rates:

    • 1 Hr: $55
    • 45-Min: $45
    • 30-Min (potty break): $35
    • 15-Min (potty break): $25

    Additional dog (same household):

    • +$10 for 1-hour and 45-minute walks
    • +$5 for 30-minute and 15-minute walks

    Buddy Walks

    For neighbouring dogs who get along well but aren’t quite ready for our group walks, Buddy Walks offer a safe, fun way to enjoy a shared outing.

    Rates per dog:

    • 1 Hr: $45

    • 45-Min: $35

    • 30-Mon: $25

    • 15-Min: Not available

    Important notes

    Service reminders are sent every Friday for the following week.

    To help us maintain a consistent and reliable schedule, the following policies apply:

    • Booking Deadlines: Drop-in rates reflect bookings made by 5:00 pm Thursday for the following week. 
      Requests received after this time are accepted but may be subject to a $2 after-hours booking fee to accommodate schedule changes.
    • Booking window: Drop-ins can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance. Requests made earlier are welcome but may not be confirmed until 2 weeks before the service date.

    • Billing: Completed drop-in services are invoiced biweekly on Fridays and are due the following Monday (or the next business day).

    • Availability: Drop-in spots are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Clients seeking priority scheduling and consistency are encouraged to purchase a monthly pass.

    • Cancellation policy: 
      • Free with 48 hours' notice 
      • 50% with 24 hours' notice 
      • 100% with less than 24 hours' notice

    Billing
    • New clients: 
      • Payment is required at the time of purchase to secure a recurring spot.
    • Existing passholders:
      • To maintain a guaranteed recurring spot, existing pass holders are automatically billed on the first Monday of each month (or the next business day) for the subsequent month’s pass,
      • with payment due by the Thursday of the following week
      • For example, April passes are billed on the first Monday of March and due on the second Thursday of March.

    Cancellations & Absences

    General Policy

    • Monthly passes are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless approved by the Service Provider.

    Cancellation Credits

    • One (1) cancellation credit is issued for every three (3) monthly passes purchased.
    • After purchasing three monthly passes, the Client may cancel one scheduled recurring service at any time and will receive a prorated credit equal to the value of the missed service. This credit will be applied to future purchases (i.e., their next monthly pass purchase).
    • For example: If the Client purchases monthly passes for March, April, and May for one walk per week, with a per-walk value of $52, the Client may cancel one scheduled walk at any time and will receive a prorated credit of $52 applied to their account for a future purchase (i.e., a June or July monthly pass).

    Absence credit

    • If the Client’s dog will be away during a scheduled recurring service, the Client may request an absence credit.
    • Absences must be scheduled in minimum one (1) week blocks.
    • Clients may receive absence credits for up to four (4) weeks per calendar year, subject to the notice requirements outlined below.
    • When an absence credit is requested, a portion of the missed service value will be credited toward future purchases (i.e., their next monthly pass purchase). The remaining portion will be retained as a holding fee to reserve the Client’s recurring service spot and to account for the possibility that the spot cannot be temporarily filled while the Client’s dog is away.

    Notice-Based Credit Rates

    Absence credits are prorated based on notice provided:

    • 28+ days’ notice: 60% credit
    • 21 days’ notice: 50% credit
    • 14 days’ notice: 30% credit
    • 7 days’ notice: 15% credit

    Example: 

    • If the Client purchases a March monthly pass for one walk per week (4 weeks), totalling $208, with a per-walk value of $52, and the Client schedules a two-week absence with 28 days’ notice:
      • Absence credit issued: $52 × 2 walks × 60% = $62.40
      • Holding fee retained: $52 × 2 walks × 40% = $41.60
    • The absence credit of $62.40 will be applied to the Client’s account and may be used toward future purchases (i.e., an April or May monthly pass).
